Allmost all of the middle and small size colombian utilities benefit from having full SCADA - SPARD® DMS - SPARD® GIS - CIS integrated systems developed and commisioned by Energy Computer Systems.

ECS is now the absolute leader in Colombia of integrated corporate installations. In 2010, we have completed installation of SPARD® - GIS, OMS / TCS and SCADA for CEDENAR (Centrales Eléctricas de Nariño), EEP (Empresa de Energía de Pereira), after EBSA (with Siemens), EMSA (with Siemens), CEDELCA, CENS, ELECTROCAQUETA in 2007-2009. We also finished updating the SPARD® DMS at CHEC (Central Hodroeléctrica de Caldas) and EDEQ (Empresa de Energía del Quindío), both (and CENS) owned by Empresas Públicas de Medellín EPM. *

With our current SCADA Partner, Survalent Technology from Canadá, we already have completed four integrated SPARD OMS - SCADA installations, and two additional are under way.

ECS has won two important bids, for ENERTOLIMA (Empresa Energética del Tolima) and ELECTROHUILA (Electrificadora del Huila), which also include Substaion Automation work and IVR - Contact Centers.

New SPARD® IVR - Contact Centers are already signed up for ENELAR, CEDENAR, ELECTROHUILA and ENERTOLIMA.

ECS has commisioned its OMS with the STC SCADA in the US, through our partner Survalent Technology at Lodi Electric Utility, City of Lodi, CA.

In January 2011, ECS has launched the SPARD® IVR - Contact Center, interfacing directly with SPARD® OMS

In Fall 2011, ECS will be launching SPARD® FWOM (Field Work Order Management using Handhelds) and SPARD® PAD (Field Network Data Editing)
