New Project Types are being executed
ECS is presently executing two projects, in which tight integration between SIEMENS PowerCC SCADA and SPARD® mp DMS applications OMS, TCS and CMS and GIS are put into operation. An integration of SPARD® Distribution (GIS) and the Commercial Information System (CIS -SIEC developed by EBSA) is implemented, too.
Thus, the Colombian utilities Empresa de Energía de Boyacá EBSA and Electrificadora del Meta EMSA will benefit from having a full SCADA - DMS - GIS - CIS integration.
Telecontrolled and non - telecontrolled maneuvers at the same site, network state real time remote availability, outage event work progress, Fault location, geographical visualization of outages and crews at the TCS (Trouble Call System), geo - thematic maps of customer energy consumption ranges, debtor situation are some of the benefits of having an integrated system.
Other Electric Utility Companies have shown strong interest in these "Turn Key",
corporate projects.
ECS is also working on integrating the SCADA system from Survalent Technology Corporation,
Mississauga - Ontario Canada.
