SPARD® mp is one of the first systems offering a solution directed at the “Modern Grid”, that establishes new, more integral and efficient ways  for emergency response, service restoration, routine grid operation, multi - criteria optimization of operation by means of distribution analysis in real time, and for planning of the system.

For that purpose, SPARD® mp integrates the topological distribution database (usually the GIS database) with the control system, in such a way, that there is unity of modeling and operation for control and simulation functionality.

This basically means to operate the SCADA System and the Geographic System for Simulation and Management of the Distribution Network (SPARD® mp Distribution) in an integrated way. SPARD® Distribution on the other hand, communicates and synchronizes with the Commercial Information System (CIS) for customer and transformer grid links and their consumption data. SPARD® mp is a modular system, that allows implementation in any electric utility, independently of the already present systems, such as GIS, SCADA, etc.
